Color Adjuster

Fine-tune colors with intuitive HSL sliders. Adjust hue, saturation, and lightness in real-time.

About Color Adjuster

Our Color Adjuster provides precise control over colors using HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) sliders. Unlike HEX or RGB, HSL allows you to adjust colors in a way that matches human perception - change the color type (hue), its intensity (saturation), or its brightness (lightness).

This tool is perfect for fine-tuning brand colors, creating color variations, or finding the perfect shade for your design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use HSL instead of RGB?

HSL is more intuitive for humans. Hue lets you pick the color type, saturation controls intensity, and lightness controls brightness. RGB requires understanding how three channels mix to create colors.

What does the Hue slider do?

The Hue slider cycles through all colors on the color wheel (0-360 degrees). 0 is red, 120 is green, 240 is blue. Moving this changes the fundamental color while keeping saturation and lightness.

How do I make a color lighter or darker?

Use the Lightness slider. Increasing it adds white (making the color lighter/pastel), decreasing it adds black (making it deeper/darker). At 0% you get black, at 100% you get white.
